"My World"

In my world the battle of good and evil is all but lost, I've given way to fear and lustful thoughts

In my world the sun and all its promises have been traded for fear and knees rubbed raw begging for forgiveness

In my world the gentle young soul that was cuddle and nurtured by a loving mother has been engulfed by anger and sorrow enraged by others

This world is dark, when ever a glimmer of hope sheds light its stomped on by the sins portrayed by reasoning's thought right

All I ask for in this world is to fight, fight to over come this rage.this darkness that consumes in spit of my prayers of forgiveness

Prayers that go unheard because of my actions that speak louder then words

In my world I hide from the right maybe cause I was born in the wrong, but aren't we all?

Aren't we all capable of doing what's seen positive in the warming light? Ignoring ill conceived pressures not believing the hype

Look deep within, for in the end its your sins that you have to face eye to eye, its your actions now that can redeem your soul out of darkness and within the right

  1. Seems like you're fighting with yourself. Words of wisdom, someone once told me, in order to move on and grow in life , you must forgive. great poem though.
