"Paydirt"

Wassup folk, I wrote this poem one payday after I looked at my check and looked at my bills and Damn near jumped off a bridge. Then I thought about, I need a new job and many of us out there feel this way, hell some of us just need a job. But what we do is walk around complaining but not making progress to better our lives. Sitting down can go along way right here. We let life speed by us when we should slow down and make a plan, decide what you want out of life instead of complaining of what you don't got, learn new skills or enhance the ones you have instead of saying I can't. Not everyone is ment to sit on the mountain top but with a good plan and hard work your view of the mountain will be greatly better.

"Paydirt"
Cashflow dreams cascade down my brow worries of bills past and present represent nightmares that visit biweekly to the tune of collection calls and broken promises bad 509 my score awakes me from the American dream of buy now pay later into a reality of lower lower class rejection letter after letter until the pink is your final notice how do we overcome a system that is over run and produces failure for those that produce our daily bread til your toast no butter no vasiline this world is ruff and raw uncut your budget grab your ankles and say fuck it
